The Gambia, a popular West African tourist destination has reopened their borders after a Covid-19 lockdown. The Banjul International Aiport reopened on the 1st of November 2020.
Tourism contributes heavily to the country’s economy and travel restrictions hit the country very hard. But with one of the world’s lowest infected rates with less than 120 deaths in the whole country to date, The Gambia is one of the safest countries to travel to now.
